What happens to information when you read the guide, use a tool or contact its maintainer.

No site account requiredUpdated

1. Scope and contact

This notice covers https://arenaofchampions.net, the independent Arena of Champions Field Guide. The site is maintained as a fan reference project. The responsible site maintainer can be contacted at contact@arenaofchampions.net.

The guide has no visitor account system, payment checkout, comment system or newsletter signup. We do not receive your game password, private game messages, account progress or payment information from the official game. Visiting that game or another external service is a separate interaction governed by its provider’s policies.

2. Website requests and hosting

Cloudflare delivers this static website and helps protect it from harmful traffic. Loading a page or an asset necessarily sends a network request. Technical information can include your IP address, the requested URL, request time, browser or device information sent in headers, referring information and security signals.

This information supports delivery, caching, reliability, abuse prevention and troubleshooting. Cloudflare may process request information and make service information available to the site operator. The Field Guide does not maintain a separate visitor-account database or require a profile to read pages.

Cloudflare’s handling of end-user traffic is described in its Privacy Policy. That policy does not replace this notice or turn Cloudflare into the publisher of this guide.

3. Search, tools and browser state

Site search. Pagefind searches a static index in your browser. Search assets are requested from this site. The current implementation does not send your search terms to a separate search service or to a search-analytics endpoint.

Talent calculator. Your selected class, specialization, data version and talent identifiers are encoded in the page’s URL. The calculator updates browser history as you make choices. A copied or bookmarked build URL therefore contains those choices, and anyone who receives it can read them.

A URL may also be retained in browser history, bookmarks, a messaging service where you share it, or technical request records when it is loaded. Do not add personal information to build links. The calculator does not save a named build to a server account.

Clipboard. Selecting Share build asks your browser to write the build URL to your clipboard. The tool does not read existing clipboard contents. If writing is unavailable, it displays the URL for you to copy manually.

Other tool choices. Composition selections and spell-filter inputs are held in the current page’s memory. Some links can supply an initial class filter in the URL. The current site application does not use localStorage or sessionStorage to keep a personal profile or save these choices across devices. Reloading a tool can reset choices that are not represented in its URL.

4. Cookies, analytics and browser permissions

The current site application does not set its own tracking cookies. It has no advertising tags, behavioral analytics tracker or Cloudflare Web Analytics/RUM beacon configured. Fonts, illustrations, screenshots and search assets are served with the site rather than loaded from third-party font or image services.

Cloudflare can use security or challenge cookies when the relevant network protection is applied. For example, a challenge may use a cf_clearance cookie to record that it was passed. This is conditional security processing, not a claim that every Cloudflare cookie is present on every visit. See Cloudflare’s cookie documentation for the functions of its cookies.

You can inspect or clear cookies and site data in your browser. Blocking all storage or scripts can affect a security challenge or a browser-based tool. Reading the main guide pages does not require granting camera, microphone or geolocation access.

5. Email and voluntary reports

If you email us, we receive your email address, any name your mail service supplies, your message, attachments and associated email delivery information. We use that correspondence to answer you, investigate the issue you raised, handle a privacy or content request, and maintain a record needed to resolve that matter.

Our Contact page opens your own email application; it does not submit a hidden web form. Your email service processes your outgoing message. Our dedicated contact mailbox uses Cloudflare services to receive and store messages, headers and attachments for the maintainer to review.

Incoming messages to this contact address are not automatically sent to a third-party AI model to generate replies. Send only information needed for your request, and redact passwords, payment details, private conversations and unrelated personal information from attachments.

A public issue on GitHub is different from an email. The issue, your GitHub identity and the material you post can be visible to others under GitHub’s policies. Use email for personal information, a rights complaint or a security report.

6. Game data and public screenshots

The reference database describes public game mechanics rather than private player accounts. Original screenshots show scenes captured in the official game, and can incidentally show public display names or other on-screen material. They are included to explain entry screens, practice and arena terrain.

If a screenshot on this site contains information about you that concerns you, email the page URL and identify the part of the image. We can review the context and an appropriate correction, crop, redaction or removal. You do not need to publish your concern in a public issue.

7. Providers, external links and disclosure

Hosting, network delivery and the contact mailbox involve Cloudflare. Your own email provider also processes correspondence you send. These providers may process information in countries other than the one where you live, according to their service arrangements and privacy practices. We do not promise that all technical or email data remains in one country.

The Field Guide does not sell visitors’ personal information or share it for cross-site advertising. Information may need to be disclosed when required by applicable law, to address an abuse or security incident, or to establish or respond to a legal claim. We do not send game credentials to any service on your behalf.

Links to the official game, GitHub, Cloudflare documentation and other websites take you to independent services. Merely providing a link does not let us control their collection or deletion of information. Review their notices before submitting information there.

8. Retention and practical choices

There is no server-side build account to delete on this guide. You control build URLs kept in your browser, bookmarks and messages. Clearing your browser history or site data can remove your local copies; it does not remove copies you already shared or records held by a hosting or email provider.

We retain correspondence according to what is needed to answer the request, investigate a reported issue, keep an appropriate record of its resolution and meet any applicable record-preservation obligation. The relevant period depends on the type of matter. We do not promise a fixed deletion period for every message or for records managed by a provider.

Ask us about a particular message or record if you want it reviewed for deletion. Hosting and security records follow the provider’s applicable retention practices; we may not be able to identify a visitor from the limited information available to us.

9. Privacy requests and complaints

Depending on the law that applies to your situation, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of information, or to object to its use. Contact contact@arenaofchampions.net with the request and enough context to locate the information. We may need to confirm that a request concerns you before disclosing personal information.

Start with a description and the relevant page or approximate message date. Do not send identity documents or sensitive records unless we explain why additional verification is needed. If we cannot fulfill part of a request, we will explain the relevant limitation. You may also raise a concern with a privacy regulator where applicable.

10. Children and changes to this notice

The guide does not offer child accounts or ask children to provide personal information. If you believe a child has sent personal information to the maintainer, contact us so the message and appropriate action can be reviewed. The official game has its own access rules.

We will update this notice and its date when the site’s information practices change. Before adding a feature such as accounts, an optional analytics service or a web submission form, its actual data handling needs to be reflected here. Questions can be sent to contact@arenaofchampions.net.
